Endpoint tied to termination of four appeals. Section 2(3) uses 90 days after the latest termination of cases 41858–41861. The order is conditional; it is not a general permission to use prohibited firearms.
Hearing scheduled: November 9, 2026. The appeal is pending. Leave and intervention orders do not overturn the prohibition.
No new claims accepted. The federal program page says businesses can still check existing claims through the portal.
Declarations closed; existing claims assessed. Follow the official notification and funding-agreement process. The amnesty extension does not extend the compensation program.
Provincial amendments are in force and the Firearms Verification and Appraisal Service is open. Eligible Saskatchewan residents may receive appraisals and certificates of exemption subject to the provincial requirements. The provincial service is optional for participation in the federal compensation program; consult the current federal amnesty order for federal requirements and deadlines.
Different compensation treatment. Individual compensation excludes upper receivers. Check the official list for the specific item and applicable requirements.
